In May 2011, on the anniversary of the laying of the foundation stone, we started our journey towards the 150th. Anniversary of the dedication of St. Peter's Church, Bramley in July 2013.
As a church built with a vision to share the Gospel with the community of Bramley, we hope to share many events with the community as we work our way towards the 2013 Anniversary.
Some of the Events and Services in Our Celebrations
Between 6th. and 14th. July, we will making models of people dressed in Period Costume to represent those who have worshipped here in the past.

We are intending to work outside to allow passers-by to help with this task.
On Sunday 7th. July, we will begin the week of celebrations with a service of Book of Common Prayer Choral Evensong at 6.00 pm led by the Heritage Singers.

We are hoping to use the newly restored service book from 1868, given on the fifth anniversary of the dedication of the church for this service.
On Saturday 13th. July, the church will be open for prayer during the day.

Also a peal will be rung on the bells as part of our celebrations.
On Sunday 14th. July, the Bishop of Ripon and Leeds will preside over a special Communion Service at 10.30 am.

The wall-hanging made by community groups will be dedicated during this service and many past members of clergy will be there, along with other invited guests.
